November 14, 2025

The holiday buying window is officially here.
As of today:
How you list, ship, crosslist, and manage it all now, determines whether you’ll be in control later.
1. Start Listing Now
Search algorithms take time to index your listings. If your inventory isn’t live yet when the rush hits, it won’t have visibility.
Do this today: Give yourself a simple daily listing goal. Even 5–15 items/day compounds fast. Why it matters: Earlier listings = more impressions = more sales when shoppers start buying.
2. Price With a Holiday Discount Buffer
Buyers expect deals in this economy, and you're going to have to lean into discounting your items. So, price today with room to run a promotion later.
Example:
If you plan to run a 15%–25% off sale → raise prices +10–20% now.
This lets you:
Offer deals without wrecking your margins.
Look competitive when the discount fever hits.
3. Lean Into What Already Sells
This is not the time to experiment.
Let your data tell you what to list.
Do this today:
Pull your top 10 fastest-selling brands/styles/categories.
Make sure they are photographed, listed, and crosslisted.
These are your power items for November.
4. Crosslist to More Marketplaces-
More eyeballs = more chances to sell during the holiday surge.
If you’re only on one platform, you're leaving money on the table.
Do this today:
Crosslist at least 10 items to one additional marketplace.
(And yes, Treecat makes this easy 🐾)
5. Use Automation & Tools to Reduce Stress
Treecat’s automations handle the “busy work” for you, beautifully in the background:
Sales Detection + Auto-Delist
Items automatically get removed from other marketplaces when they sell, so you avoid oversells (and the angry messages that come with them).
Set-and-Forget Poshmark Sharing
Your closet stays active all day, and at the nightly party, without you doing a thing.
Automated Delist/Relist
Keeps your listings fresh in search... while you sleep, ship, source, or just live your life.
6. Organize Your Inventory Now
Do your inventory clean-up while things are still calm.
Bag, fold, sort by SKU, and confirm everything is where you think it is.
Black Friday is not the time to be digging through bins.
7. Set Realistic Shipping Times
Stick with a handling time you can maintain under pressure.
Fast shipping is great — but consistent shipping is what protects your seller metrics, your ratings, and your sanity.
8. Refresh Your Photos (Make Them Pop!)
Holiday shoppers want amazing-looking items they can gift.
If your hero photo looks dark, cluttered, or busy, shoppers won’t even click.
This is where nice, bright photos win... especially with clean white backgrounds.
Treecat now includes:
One-click white background cleanup (no more paying extra for Canva or removing backgrounds using Photoroom)
Treecat's built-in photo editing tools to brighten, crop, and level your shots.
The “Update” feature to replace images across multiple marketplaces instantly, without re-listing or starting over.
9. Take Care of You (Don't Forget Self Care!)
Q4 can be intense. Orders stack up. Messages come in. Packing tape sticks to everything except the box.
And it’s easy to slip into “I’ll eat, rest, or take a 5-minute break later.”
But later doesn’t come unless you make space for it.
This season is easier, and more sustainable, when you take care of your body, brain, and energy.
Here’s how to stay grounded during the rush:
Feed Yourself Well
Set aside time to make real meals, not just coffee and a protein bar. (The Instant Pot and Crock Pot are your friend!)
Your brain, mood, and patience depend on actual nutrients.
Hydrate
Keep a water bottle next to your shipping station. Drink it. Refill it.
Dehydration feels like stress, even when life is actually fine.
Move Your Body (Even 5 Minutes)
Stretch between packing labels.
Step outside for sunlight once a day.
Movement clears the stress chemicals that build up during busy days.
